Dealer may of overfilled engine oil.

Gents,

Any Advice, Dealer may of overfilled the engine oil by 2 quarts. Will this cause seals to blow out?

Will it cause any damage?

It can cause problems, but how are you sure it was overfilled? Have you checked the dip-stick?

If it is in fact that full, I would either stop driving and call the dealership to come fix there mistake or drain out a couple quarts (it can be done with quick hands) and be done with it.

I've had a dealer do a course instead of seven that's not a problem now I just take him so I have an inside day seven but have them change it they screwed it up

Dealer does a 8 quart change versus 7 so I normally provide just 7 QT's of Mobil 1 extended performance. Although 8 qt's of oil won't hurt your LC. More then that might. (Typed this versus speaking into phone, normally not a problem)
