Daniel Boone NP and others (1 Viewer)

Hello! We are looking to move to Eastern TN, looking at places near the KY border. Daniel Boone NP looks like a cool place. Is there a lot of wheeling up there? What other spots in Eastern TN are good?

Define East TN? For a job or retirement? People in the Kingsport-Johnson City area are a different breed if you know what I mean.
I have family south of Knoxville in Maryville and thats a great area, but I don't run 4 wheels there only 2 when I visit. But lots of 4 wheels and I see lots of trails in the hills and mountains. Smokey's have a lot of gravel/dirt roads running thru them.

You could post this question also in the Appalachia Cruisers section of the Eastern Clubhouses. There are several "local" trails those guys run, along with the more known trails in the area.

Take a look at the Daniel Boone Back Country Byway, it is around the NF.

Thanks all. Right now our favorite house is in Oneida. But we really have the whole state to choose from. I'll be working from home, so as long as we have internet (which seems like a problem, actually), we can be wherever.

I am in Bristol. It is about a 2 hour drive between here and Knoxville. Oneida is very close to Windrock Park.
