Tom is a stand up guy, he is currently working on move if his business location so I'm sure that may be taking priority.

He originally borrowed my 83 for the bracket fitment and a set of BMW seats I have. He asked me a couple weeks ago to borrow the BMW seats again because the template they made was off.

My guess is that his business needs are taking a priority at the moment. If you can wait the 80 series brackets they have made look fantastic and I know that he is equally committed to the 60 series.

That's encouraging and consistent with what I was told regarding the brackets. Thanks for the info. I really hope it works out.

They've been really responsive to my private and patient messages. last message was a couple days ago indicating they expected the new, correct bracketry back from their fabricator any day... and would be back in touch as soon as they were happy with what they received and had some supply to ship.

OK, post pictures of these universal brackets so I can DIY them for pennies on the dollar. THANK YOU!

This is really making me wonder if I should spend the $175 a seat to have my current reupholstered (going to buy a butt warmer kit and have them put under the cloth) or just go grab some salvage yard bmw or pt cruiser seats??? Really don't want electric seats but do want butt warmers, so that may be something I have to look into.

Spent $17 on a junk yard pair of seats from an '88 Mazda MX6, pulled the upholstery off, washed it, and reapplied. Fab'd up custom brackets allowing me to bolt the seats into my 62 (sloppy welds, but they're strong and it was my very first fab project). Still haven't gotten the things powdercoated but it's on the list. I love how the seats feel, and well worth the effort put into them.

Wow! NIce match up with the blue on blue. Makes me want to go to the junk yard today and look for some poo brown seats. lol

those are some good fitting seats Sp50, any more pics of them installed?

I had some on my phone but lost them when the SD card got corrupted. I'll try to snap some new ones if I can remember when we get a break in the snow.

We are very excited to announce our partnership with a certified seat bracket manufacturer to bring brackets to the Landcruiser world. We just finished brackets for 80-series trucks and our next project is the 60-series.

These brackets are steel, powder-coated and can accept almost every aftermarket seat out there as well as have room to drill for custom applications.

We are already planning on developing brackets for the 60-series but would like to gauge interest with the hopes that there's a big market that will help get this development pushed to the front of the line. We also have extended-length slides available to mount to the seat of your choice

Offering a 10% discount to Mud members. Brackets are normally $140, but will be:

$126 each for Mud users
Slides are $90/pair.

Also, we are now a national retailer for Scheel-Mann seats. Seat upgrades are a regular request among 60-series owners and we're excited to add such a well-regarded brand to our shop. More info and pricing to come. If you're interested now please PM us.

Great idea helping out the Mud members. Am interested. Anything we can do to add individual taste in 60' is appreciated.

Hey guys! I'm really sorry about the insanely delayed responses. It's been overwhelmingly busy at the shop over the holidays and on top of that we are currently building out a new space and preparing to move. It's been hectic!
I'm working on responding to everyone right now.

I'd be interested in the package price for the Traveler/Touring seats (low bolster), inner arm rests, brackets, and extended slide for the drivers side... Have you matched / considered best options for fj62 grey interior?
interested in the same set up as redstone311 grey interior also

I will PM both of you.

Coming!

^^same question @SeattleFJs

Wondering if anyone has actually received a bracket for the early 60's?

I placed an order 6 weeks ago and all seemed well. Was told they had to redesign the bracket a couple weeks ago but now he's not returning calls or emails. Hopefully this gets resolved quickly. I'll be bummed if this turns out to be a bust.

We have not charged anyone for parts that have not shipped. We are ready to ship 60 and 62 series brackets next week. All fab and design work is done, including the small adapters we had to make to accommodate the BMW seats. Please PM me to confirm your order and we will take care of it ASAP!

Ready to rumble next week. All brackets are done as well as the BMW seat adapters.

I got a message from him on Sunday, saying he was hoping to get them in on Tuesday?

Hahaha. I'm happy to post pics. These are a little more than pieces of bar with tabs welded on. They are full universal platforms customized for the trucks. Pics are coming.

sent the OP a message regarding fj62 fitment.

Trying to respond to everyone today. Caught up on PM's. If you haven't already and are interested in the brackets please PM me - it's the only way I can keep track of who's who. Thank you!

Alright guys, the early 60 brackets are all ready to go. We have two more sets available from the original 5 we made. Our next batch can be ready to ship by end of next week or early the following week.

Hey @SeattleFJs I'm interested in these for an early 60 for use with a BMW E90 seat. Can you show me what that would look like? Or will those seats work as show? And to be clear these are $140 each?
