Only one more set of 1160mm, AHC+ 27mm Torsion Bars available in this first pre-order run!

We've also got 7x available sets of 1160mm, OEM+ 29.5mm Torsion Bars on the shelf, ready to ship-

@cruiserpatch I would like to order 27mm AHC bars. Any left unclaimed or another production run soon?
I'm running an Ironman 4x4 front bumper (107lbs) with 12k winch (66lbs).

Thanks for bringing this to market!

Hey, Yes!

I've got one more set in this first batch that's available for pre-order. I'll have to close up on pre-orders after 10x sets are paid for as I don't like holding people's money for products that aren't even being manufactured yet...

I hate lead times- almost as much as I hate mud

Thanks! Ordered!

Nine sets shipped out yesterday.

The last set is still in production.

Haven’t received any more pre-orders for batch #2 yet so I’m holding off on placing another order until demand arises

Same! Mine should be delivered tomorrow. Ready to get the front AHC pressures under 6.9 after the ironman bumper and 12k winch.

Just got my shipping notice yesterday as well! Looking forward to getting them installed.

@cruiserpatch Can you measure the end-product diameter.... powder coat and all?
Unfortunately I shipped all of the sets out yesterday but assuming the powder process, etc is identical to my 29.5mm bars (actually measurement 29.78mm w/ powder) I'd estimate the 27mm bars to measure at around 27.2mm-27.3mm

I just sold my last set of 29.5mm and am undecided what diameter bar to order next. My three options are:

  1. "AHC+" 27mm bars
  2. "OEM+" 29.5mm bars
  3. "OEM Replica" 28.85mm bars
Feedback is welcome.

Spot on 27.2mm thanks @cruiserpatch

Mine were just delivered, box had custom vents on both sides (torn where the splines are on one side of the box, both ends). Hopefully they are okay. Patch said there are no marked splines, so I can just slide them in and bolt them back on? I got an alignment a few months ago, since I have AHC I shouldn't need to get an alignment since the ride height isn't changing? Or should I just go get an alignment just in case?

Do ANYTHING that touches a suspension component = Do alignment. (IMO)
Torsion bars ARE front springs.

AHC just levels to sensors and doesn't care if your alignment is good or not.

I'm pretty ocd with my alignment, I pay for custom alignments when I do big changes and I have a lifetime alignment for the in betweens. I noticed with AHC, when I left the ride height alone and tweaked pressures/reindex my torsion bars, when I took it to alignment it didn't need it, hence my question. Since I have newish tires, i'll probably bring it in to the lifetime place and say I hit a big pot hole or something for a alignment check, haha.

Cheaper to align your wheels when do major suspension work than replacing chewed out tyres or fighting a steering wheel that won’t behave itself.

@trdcorolla You can measure the height, both L&R, prior to installation. After installation, verify height and the alignment should be the same.

You would want to “preload” the torsion bars by offsetting the splines. See number 20:

I plan to offset by 5 splines when I install Patch’s AHC torsion bars next weekend.
