very nice work and great sound too :D

TURN UP THE FUEL! at least 1.5 turns. And put hose clamps on your vacuum hoses on injector pump to throttle body or else your engine will run away on you. TRUST ME!!!

Unless you turned up the fuel already. Your truck was pretty smoky.

Sounds sick!

Must have been turned up, smokey and easily peaks 20psi...way too much

Did you disconnect your waste gate? 20 psi is pretty high for a stock waste gate setup. But if your egt's a cool. Then just go with it. How are you liking it?

I might have a line on a 5 speed if your looking.

My BJ60 runs 20+PSI with the wastegate wired shut. I have turned up the fuel 1.5 turns. I run an intercooler in the summer when I have the RTT on the roof and I do most of my highway trips. My EGTs are around 800F, so I'd just run it as-is. The PO installed the exhaust manifold upside down, so my turbo is very low compared to yours, so my turbo faces up, leaving more room for the intercooler.

by how many degrees gerg?

Hah. That is a great question. I honestly can't give an exact answer. If yiu dyno tuned it for peak torque to say 2200 rpm you would be able to get an idea of how much but short if that it's a lot of guess work. The hokey stamp marks are grossly inaccurate and if you spill time retard it that would be accurate but by how much? I've searched for this answer for years. If I had endless time I would design a device to make micro adjustments to the pump position in real time while pulling a hill or something and see where you got lowest boost and lowest egts. I think where those two meet your timing is well matched. Someone should do that now that I think of it. Sounds neat.
Happy new year!

I have done micro adjustments on my pump with no noticeable power increase or egt changes?

You will pick up lower end torque due to moving optimal timing down in the rpms but, more importantly, you will be decreasing Peak cylinder pressures. A lot of folks miss that with increased intake temps comes advanced timing from the heat. Retarding the timing mechanically is an attempt to compensate for that.
