SRP flow chart showed flow at 75CFM and based on the past should of made the water crossings easy and very low. Well not the case this trip. Not a problem for even the stock cruisers but did raised the excitement level for many. Being the lead vehicle without a snorkel I through caution to the wind and just went for in the 100 series without walking the crossings.
Everyone did a great job at the crossings attacking them without hesitation and producing picture perfect bow waves in most cases.
Sorry I missed it. Sold my little 1993 Toyota pickup Saturday. However after looking at those water crossing maybe better my little truck was sold rather than drown in the Verde. Looking for another Toyota 4x4 pickup. Maybe a lifted Tacoma or a Tundra. Off to Amsterdam Sunday so will start looking hard once I return. See you all soon.
Thanks to everyone for a great time The wheeling was good, the river crossings where fun, and sitting by the river BSing and sharing food was excellent!
What's funny is that I just pulled my fishing pole out of the Cruiser a few weekends ago after driving around with it in there for weeks after a camping trip up North. I had it bound to the rear cargo grab handle with the tip of the pole right at the driver's side window and the bobber I keep on there kept whacking me in the head when I'd get in!
I think I'll put it back in for times just like this. Some hooks, a can of corn or PowerBait, and I'd have been set. You could see some pretty big carp roiling the surface, and while not edible (depending on who you ask), they are loads of fun to catch for their fight.
