I just got my transfer case skid plate from Jason of Cruisin Off Road! Install took less than 10 minutes and it looks great.... This is one more piece of protection that checked off my need list!

Looks good. Are they universal fit for all configs of 80 (ie. auto vs manual crossmembers)? The factory plate for the transfer case is, as we all know, pretty mediocre.

Craig.

What was the cost? what is the metal thickness and did you need to drill any holes?

Holy s***, it came wrapped in cardboard!!!!! Hell of a concept. :deadhorse:

Looks like $235 (Canadian, eh) + shipping.

I have them both one from the T-case and one for the engine - they are very well made thick metal plate - strongly suggest both cost US $500+ sipping View attachment 932571 View attachment 932572
I plan on purchasing the oil pan skid as well in the future, as in next tax return? LOL I make one big purchase each year until it it done? But I dont know if this Cruiser infection will ever really be done?

Another vote for Jason's top notch work. He built me a ladder and a removable double jerry can carrier for my Kaymar swing out. Beefiest ladder I've seen anyone fab.

These look nice, I think I'm going to drop the $500 and get a set. Of course I will.

Ordered. Rather, sent the email to order. Brent, good to know about custom work.

He will customize any of his off the shelf products to suit as well. I had light tabs added to my front bumper designed for Lightforce 240's and a mount for a hi-lift bar as well...both with no additional charge.

Started emailing back and forth with Jason. Transfer plate ordered. It's another $50 to ship it to Cali. He said it should ship out next week.

We talked about making up a new swing out fort IPOR. All he needs is my list of stuff I want and a few measurements. He said he will make something that can be welded onto my existing IPOR arm instead building a whole new piece. Very cool!!
