Why no lift??

Uhm, that is what is left of our 6" lift springs. Might have to get some custom ones made. It is a little on the heavy side.

We redid the inside, but I am not sure if we took much in terms of pictures. I will do a write-up on the site.

Yes, Ben was at KOH last week. Don't have the pics from there yet.

I dont know if the suspension is stock, but it looked like it floated on the dunes at SnT. The BBQ and RTT were very cool on that monster. I wonder how what its like to drive.

We put our 6" heavy springs on it, but alas, it was not enough. Need some more. As for driving, once you get used to the turning radius not too bad. It did remarkably well at Pismo. We thought it would get stuck as soon as we left the beach, but it did not. Never needed a pull.

Where the original springs stock? Seems like the limo maker would have upgaded them to begin with.

Don't know if I said this before in another thread or if I was just thinking it. Super outcome for that limo - you restored an 80's dignity and added a mobile Slee marketing billboard in the process.

I love it. I can imagine it lifted with 40's, 5.29s, and a turbo. An offroading limo that actually can go off road. That is so cool.

So what does speed it cruise at and what are the MPGs?

I saw it at the Hammers late Wednesday night, looked for it again, and I never saw it. Probably, too much frickin dust, couldn't see a thing.

Here is a local unit running around. AFAIK, it was stretched in Japan and brought over used here then converted to LHD.

It is now used as a hearse by the local funeral place.

Cultural tip: White is used for mourning colors in the East, just as we use black in the West. So a white hearse there makes sense, if it seems odd to you.

Well, it can do 100 mph. However we don't talk about the mileage :grinpimp:

Well, If the trip odometer was reset at fuel fill, then I'm guessing 6ish..
