Broken in the middle of the trail.
Digging in and successfully removing the broken axle shaft! Called in on the Sat Phone for a spare.

Arrived at Old Spanish Arena and ate dinner.
Two trucks grabbed the spare axle and made a quick drive at night back to the broken 60.
The axle install took way too long. Lets talk about arb lockers and different thickness c-clips.
Full loop (including pavement) took 5 hours drive time.

Our trail leader took a tumble (3x) on the way back. (Sorry I did not a get a photo of wheels up, too busy positioning and pulling winch line to get him back on his wheels).

Aside from the roll and trail kisses, It was a fun challenging, scenic trail.

This section does not have a lot of room for error. High consequences.
It was still a great day of wheeling, but a said day for Steve's Rig. Thankfully no one was hurt !!!
