Views along the Burr trail - still up high in the colored rocks, still on blacktop, air-down and dirt is below the painted rocks of the last pic.

So, to interrupt my monologue here: the '60 that's on this months's Landcruiser Calendar pic - is that the same as the wrinkled raisin white '60 with UT plates that was parked at Pasta Jays in Moab on Friday of CM?

Great pics, Michael. More stuff for my bucket list.

It does look like it. But, is somewhat earlier in the conversion than what we witnessed? :hillbilly:

Due to being dry, we had the rare opportunely to go high on the mountain. This time of year, we are often denied by snow at ~7-8000'.

Left out of Blanding, looked for Marvin Tunnel, didn't find it, but found Camp Jackson, nice spread! It is posted "private property", so turned around and took the Causeway Rd across the south side of the mountain.

Lots of meadows. The one we used for a lunch spot had great camping spots, leveled places for trailers/tents and even "facilities". It is only ~4' tall, hand chopped hole in the "action spot", is usable and was used.:hillbilly:
