Andrea turned 50 today and wanted homemade coconut chicken curry and paratha. So I worked a little this morning and then made Indian for her.

Marinade for 4 hours

Simmered for a little over 3 hours

Paratha flatbread

And the finished product. So good.......... especially followed by a 2 hour nap!

Man it is tough when you are used to your Webber, and it is over 104 F outside. And the fam is all huddled up inside under the AC.

That's for sure! I gave grilled steaks and corn a second thought yesterday, but decided I didn't want to heat up the kitchen either and lit it up anyway.

Sorry Spresso, no tuna at this house. Reminds me of the tuna noodle stuff my mom made years ago when I was a kid.

Neapolitan pizza in the pizza oven. All fresh ingredients from our garden. Salad with lightly pickled (cold pack) Armenian cucumber, red onion and tomato over heart of Romain lettuce and a little baby corn. Onion and lettuce weren’t from the garden. Sorry no pics, it went too fast.

Well, no pics but my youngest son n I (and the wife) did fried frogs legs, collard greens, and red beans n rice.
First time for collards, they seemed OK, but I will need some practice.
