Breathtaking scenery! Is this where you caught your SMB bug?

Yeah it was amazing up there. Almost like a secret land not many know about.

I've always wanted a SMB, this trip just kind of added fuel to the fire and sealed the deal.

Were you in bishop on the July 12 weekend? I was up there hiking to some remote lakes to fish and saw the roads heading up foothills and was thinking it would be a great place to scout out for camping. Is this area south west of bishop? We heard about the traffic delay on Saturday and stayed in Bishop and did some geocaching. The rain was crazy we were driving in it all the way home. Great lightining to watch and flash floods in the washes down the 395.

Yeah we were up there on those dates. The road is called Coyote Rd. heading out southwest out of bishop. The mudslide sucked really bad on Sunday.

Yeah get out there and try it quick.... i guess the locals are fighting for land rights and it may not be open too much longer. Just a rumor we heard when we there.

Huh, my Grandpa was caught in that mud slide traffic. He was in a senior citizen bus that took them to the Indian casino in Bishop.

Socalfj its freaking 0100 Wed - isnt it a little late for you? Thinking about the new SMB in the driveway and the 80 leaving? Those two things keeping you awake?

OMG Alan...... you read my mind. Yep, couldn't sleep at all last night..... too excited. How'd you know?
The sad part is, we don't pick it up till tomorrow... i might not get any sleep tonight again LOL!
