Pulled the '77 out for a wash and cruise over the weekendand realized that it does not have a cowel vent assembly = wet floor and inner firewall when washing truck.
I'm looking for this assembly, plus the top panel/plate that attaches to the vertical rods that seals the opening off. The little winged plates that act as rod guides would have welded on nuts in a perfect world. Just went through installing this on my '69 over the weekend, and they didn't have captured nuts and I used every curse word known to man to vent my anger with how difficult it is to install the hardware with normal male adult sized hands.
This is what I'm looking for (photo borrowed from an ebay listing). Not sure if there were differences between the years, but closer to '77 the donor is, the better I suspect. Let me know what you got.
Thanks,
Evan
