Looking at options for 2000 LX470. I did the front seats years ago with L Seat Covers but the fake leather side pieces are peeling away. Disappointing... This car stays in the garage and only gets about 3k miles per year.

Not too interested in spending a lot of money (i.e. doing it right ) for a car that is not driven often.

Has anyone tried the slip on seat covers from Coverland? I tried searching the forum and did not see any prior references. They do carry the first and second row but not the third row. Made overseas but the warehouse is in Fullerton, CA.

Does anyone know if the Coverland for the LX470 will fit the 2000 cruiser?

The seat dimensions on the LX470 and Land Cruiser are the same. Only difference that I am aware of is the leather quality. The LX470 used a better quality leather.

the lower foam may be different shape??
the LX has different stiching pattern than the Landcruiser
there are pics on here showing the differance

These are all same same . Coverado and other brand sold with this style.... I have tried a s*** load of seat covers and these are worth recommending

Coverado / Other brands that look like this - Can be found for around $100 on Amazon . The quality is good but the only complaint is how they secure to the seat. Its got a stretchy strap and some plastic pucks that they hook into... This works just fine but isn't adjustable so you can't pull them real tight
>> These are generally universal so should definitely fit lx470 or other style truck seats
>> They do NOT have an arm rest opening so you need to punch a hole if you want to thread the arm rest in

CalTrend - Next step up for around $200-300 I think. I've tried the Cordura material and its really nice. Not like leather of course but heavy duty enough to resist dog running around on it but still soft to sit on
>> These use a better strap with buckles and you can pull it real tight.. I've also tried their waterproof neoprene which is pretty good too. I've not tried any of their faux leather stuff

Just goes up and quality gets better from there but you get into the $750+ price range

Could also go old school and throw a towel down on the seat for $3... best type of seat cover I've ever used. Color matched too
