I'm trying to get my hands on this one! Haven't seen it in person yet. It's a 62 or 63 from what I was told.

EDIT.... The truck is a 1960 model AND it is parked in my barn now :)

VIN # 9FJ2512098L on the title
There isn't a vin tag on the cowl though. Gotta finish going through the truck to see if it might be hiding in the glovebox or in a box.
Haven't got the block # yet though

#151 unless treeroot figures out where the pictures came from and if it was counted before.;)

Is 124816 on the list?

That's the eng an. Can't read the vin on my phone

HA! Too funny...I'm dumb. It looks like 0-FJ25-21435 to me

kinda looks like a 0-FJ25-21495 #151 engine 124816 FJ25L (Black vin) USA

that would put it between these two... the engine numbers go in order as well
0-FJ25-21493L #23 F124731 FJ25LD (Silver vin) USA
0-FJ25-21595 #134 F125307 AUS

1958

Spain

hdjtachtig:

After a search of Pandora's FJ25 I found it for sale on a spanish website for 3000 euro. I called the seller last Friday but I was too late: the car was sold and would be picked up saturday. The ad is gone now. Unfortunately don't know the framenr. I only knew of one FJ25 in europe (#51, they claim it is the oldest landcruiser in Europe), now it seems there are two.

I saved the pictures: The ad told the engine and rear axle are missing. The pics show a lot of remaining parts and little rust. Looks like it has some kind of barndoors?

1958?
Compliance plate is not stamped.

I meant to post photo/description in my previous post.

Regarding entry 156 - 8-fj28-2106 eng F82979

We were given this by my father on condition we restore/conserve it and keep him in the loop.

It was purchased new from Thiess Toyota by a family friend and sold to my father many years ago. It now resides with us in Southwest Queensland.

There are parts and stuff in a box in the back.

It is drivable but the fuel tank leaks. We last drove it about 10 years ago and it has been kept in a dry environment ever since.

For some reason I am unable to upload photos. It is blue, and from the others I see here, in reasonable running order. Seat upholstery, door glass, canopy, 2 canopy frame pieces, one blue winker cover are gone. As far as we recall the brakes and fuel tank need attention but otherwise it goes pretty well.

We've always owned Landcruisers, haven't a clue about old vehicles but are reasonable bush mechanics...any advice/contacts would be greatly appreciated. We don't want to rush in and mess it up. Would ideally like to see a few in varying restoration/conservation stages and/or show this one to others.

#157 FJ28 Aust

Another of the FJ28 series believed to be the first in Aust.

The blurb from the site
Exceptional rare classic country 4wd Landcruiser. One of 18 imported by Toyota head office for special order for outback Aussie dealers. Body rear sections made in Australia with Japanese front sections assembled here. This one still in strong running order with original 27,200 miles travelled and would make an easy restoration with only 6 known to still be in existence. Reserve guide $15,900 + 7 1/2% buyer's premium.
