Rob....realized today while working on some rust that I dont have new gaskets for the mechanical fuel pump swap.....I guess that will have to wait.....I will still be there to drink some beer and meet the other guys.

I also have to get another choke cable from CCOT.....hopefully another 40 will be there so I can see how to hook it up.

John have you checked napa and other local places? Possibly even the dealership. I bet there's a gasket some where in town.

Eric and I will be there after lunch, prob 1ish.

I will be starting on the suzuki samurai around noon.

most of the Cottonlanders that are coming will be showing up after 3.

I may need to go pick up some coolant. not sure if I have enough for samurai and 80. If samurai radiator doesn't show up today then it wont matter.

Rob, sorry I missed you. My buddy Andy and I went by and chatted with Lenny a while but had to go back to my house for babysitting duty/the infuriating...but watchable Ole Miss game.

Headed to napa/auto zone to find a gasket and do the actual pump switch.....THEN may need your advice....I was wrenching this morning and found 3 different sets of gas lines plan to remove all the unnecessary stuff once I get verification it's junk.

Hi Cottonlanders,
It's time to have some wrenching sessions!
It's always a great time to come together and help each other out with 4x4 projects. With our knowledge base we could probably build our own 4x4! You guys are always welcome to come out to the house with your junk.

Being apart of the CottonLand there is really no need to buy or rent expensive tools that just will collect dust. Chances are one of the members has it.

Tools that I have that fit that description :
JD2 model 3 tube bender
Millermatic 211 welder
Miller plasma cutter
Drill press
20 ton press

So from tune ups to roll cages we can help each other out.

Future projects of mine:
4x4 labs hi lift jack holder and other attachments.
80 series hi clearance lower control arms

Feel free to list your projects and what you may need help with.

LOL. We won't open this can of worms, that seems to be present on every forum in the world...
Also, my account is only visible to friends of mine on FB... I think alot of folks that haven't used FB in a few years don't know that can be done.
