My 17 year old daughter invited friends over for a late Birthday Bonfire at the house. They are using the tailgate of the Project 80 as a table for s’mores.

A dear friend built this for Alison to give me as my 5 year wedding anniversary present.

Over 100 hours spent on this. I need to get more pics of the interior.

White Pine and Oak.

Dave is a retired house builder. He bought the metal 40 off eBay and resized it to make this… from scratch.

The door hinges and gear shifter are hairbrush bristles. The front marker lights are an old medicine bottle. Truly remarkable.

Man this 80 has come along way. Was rescued in February not running and rotting away in a sketchy part of town and today it is my daily driver with new seats, Locked axles, OME lift and 315’s KO2’s with the laces out.

I don’t know if I’m getting older or just stuck in my old ways but the newest vehicle I own is a 2004 nevertheless I’ve built a very reliable fleet over the years. None of them are perfect but 3 of them have over 300k miles. The newest ones are 20 years old. If I had to I know I could jump into any of them and drive to the west coast if need be.
