I’ve had that happen to me numerous times. The last time occurred when I tried to buy a fender and a grill for my 04 LS430 and I am now the proud owner of an entire 05 LS430. Whoops. This is also what happened when I went with @dnp to look at an 80 that was listed on Craigslist. He passed on it but for some reason said 80 followed me home.

I don’t get this one for long because it’s a graduation gift to Berkley in 2 weeks. I’ll have it at the club meeting Thursday if you want to to check one out.

Made some progress on the parts truck tonight. @dnp and I ended up cutting the roof off so that I could get the dash out intact for my other 80. Need to pull the floor harness for the lockers and swap the locked axles and fuel tank into my other 80. Will then sell off what’s left and may v8 swap the one that followed me home with the parts/vehicles I already have and the proceeds of the parts I don’t need.

I like it a lot. The size is nice. I think it will be a fantastic off road truck. Visibility is great. It’s not too much truck for the suspension like I always felt 80,100, and 200 were in stock form.

The 550 was clearly nicer. Beautiful truck.
