It will run off the 24v system just fine but the accessory plug is only hot with the key on. So, like an idiot, I ran a fused wire from the first battery to an accessory plug I had laying around. I know it isn’t the best idea but it worked fine for the last four days where I could have gotten help if I needed it. Cranked each morning like it had nothing on it at all. Then, I hit the trail today.... Not to worry, it will either start in the morning or I get a nice hike in first thing. No big deal. :)

Pretty sure I have something else going on here. I isolated each battery and one reads 12.6v at rest and the other 11.4v. Of course, I can’t see what they each do when I try to crank the truck. I’ll check the connection at the starter in the morning.

Sorry Nolen, I’ll move future discussion to 70 series tech.

@Bossman yoh been bumming around middle TN this week? Wish I had known, I would have gladly bought the first round.

North Cheyenne Cañon Park, hiking trail off Gold Camp Road, Colorado Springs. 65-70 degrees with random cold breezes, sunny AF, 10% humidity. Pure heaven.

Now you just need to visit 2 hours north!

We did take a day trip up to RMNP, by way of Golden & Boulder. But with a car full of Senior & Junior citizens, there was no time to look anyone up.

Ahh, well hopefully next time. I hoped you enjoyed RMNP! I'm sure it was gorgeous with snow.
