I debate that same question each time I leave the state.

It seems as if we're ideally situated to be as far as possible from most of the areas I really enjoy.....yet, we're situated in the middle of SO many things I dislike!

No. Unfortunately, this wasn't an outing. More of an "in-ing." Friend's daughter got married at Big Canoe, and we were in GA for that. Great time with friends, but not much exploring time. For the 2 hours "free time" we had, we ran up to Amicalola because Val had never seen the falls before. Beautiful area! (and also, as you know, the southern beginning point of the Appalachian Trail)

Because we're stupid.
