That ride needs a rear bumper swing out with a jerry can tray.

Seriously how do you run out of fuel with a gauge that show miles to empty?

I've been down to 25 before and about s*** my pants

Oops. So that's kind of a before and after kinda thing. Whose mosquito fogger is that?

Dang.
That sucks donkey that you're stii

Damn, that sucks dude. Hope you can find the problem.
you getting speeding tickets also?

Bomar may have traced it to a bad circuit board in the dash, in which case I may be able to fix it.

Meanwhile, there is a fuse that I can pull out and re-insert (that's what she said) that will make it work until you turn the car off.

Kinda hack but you could remove said fuse, temp wire an in line fuse and a simple toggle switch so that you could interrupt power more easily to get the dash to light up again until a permanent fix can be found.

The thought has crossed my mind!

Bomar's find might be the solution. When I interrupt the power, it resets the trip computer, click, and a few other informational items that aren't handled by the main computer.

So I think it is something electronical.
