I am really thinking of doing the ARB 2500 awning and buying the room attachment and sleeping with a tent cot in the room until I get ducks in a row for a trailer and RTT. When I can get the trailer I can still use the awning and or room for cooking and gear storage. Any thoughts?

I would love to get this in next day or two with a BFF discount.

Alex had that ARB awning on our Nevada trip and it worked great. Sets up/takes down fast.

It did fill up with rain and one leg buckled from the load one night, but it may not have been sloped properly to let the water drain.

Awnings are always good even if you have a trailer. The only thing to be concerned with in sleeping under any of these things is high winds. That said, any tent is succeptible to high winds.

I didn't mind taking the tent on /off the roof at all. Bigger pain was bagging it up. Especially when wet and nasty. One of the reasons I like the RTT so much.

The awning walls I have are a pain to set up and take down. That being said its big and roomy in there.
