Hey everyone! I find myself needing a little help with a coolant line that I can't quite figure out its destination. I finally got my engine running after a few months of working on it (inherited an entirely undone engine from the previous owner). In getting it running, i've stumbled upon a coolant line that I can't seem to figure out where it's supposed to go: in the central firewall area behind the carb and air cleaner. I know it's coolant from the coolant volcano, but the line doesn't look like it was ever bent in another direction? I've scoured all the coolant line diagrams and forum posts I can find, but I just can't seem to figure out where this one is supposed to go? Does anyone have an idea?

that elbow with the cap on it should be rotated toward the firewall and connects to the hose in question
the hose is in the correct place just the place it connects to is not in the correct place

@3_puppies nailed it. I replaced all of my coolant lines years ago - except that one because it was hard to get to. Guess which one exploded on the highway while climbing a mountain pass? It's best to do it while you're in there even if it's hard to reach. Turning that metal coolant joint might be hard though, it looks kind of rusty.
