Cool "foreign" market OE mods for 100-series?

I think some gcc spec 100 series are legal to import. Seen a couple in my area similar to the one you posted as well as one for sale in my state on FB marketplace.

If you were to import v8 petrol 100s you would still have federalize some components, IF the DOT and EPA stated they were similar enough to domestic offering.

@mdcoa The giveaway to me is the lack of fender signal lamps. Clear corner lamps must be accompanied by fender signal lamps. But, I've been wrong before.

Usually yes, but take a look like copart middle east or peruse through some photos. You'll see some that don't have side markers. its more common on 200 but i fins some on 100s.

i wonder if that Qatar truck was just outfitted from the embassy motor pool, but it's a NAS 100 series. BUT it has a VXR badge....
Curious why it has Darcars on it, maybe the toyota dealership slap them on as cheap advertising?

Possibly, but 100 series ifs 99-06 is legal to import.

I'd like to see one w/o the side marker along with the GCC data plate. I believe you can import fairly easily into the M.E. a foreign cruiser. A non-signal fender is not even an option on the parts catalog for a GCC 100.

Speaking of GCC spec vehicles, saw this in NoVA last week (that's me parked in front); seems like it belongs here, as someone either did a VERY good job of recreating one, right down to 9.00x16 sand tires and those unobtanium side decals, or (more likely) this is an import under some kind of diplomatic-mission exception (although no diplomatic plates--low-viz Qatari Ambassador transport?)

This 100 is a recreation as it has no fender turn signals and no pintle hook.

I would love to have a grey cargo cover and the hardware to mount it. Never plan on using the third row.
