Round 2 coming soon…

Lash has been laughing at me today.

I’ve got a guy coming over from Texas to buy one of his trailers. I like to call it Lash’s Last Haul.

Anyway, he picked the M100 which is the nicest of all of them.

I grabbed it and some old 16” tubeless tires and was gonna run them up to my canton tire guy to swap.

One of the rims has a rusted valve stem hole that no way will take a valve stem to convert to tubeless. M100 wheels are different than M416 so swapping them was not happening.

I realize this after I greased it up and checked all the bearings and such. It still has the red cosmoline military grease.

I can him. He says well, fine. I’ll take the nicest 416.

I put the crappy tire back on the M100 and go get a 416. Did the same. Aired up the tube tires. They hold. Hopefully the tread won’t separate on him on I10

Pulled the hub covers on this one. All good. Full of sticky red and tight as money in Lash’s pocket.

The guy and his wife are camping at the lake tomorrow and then heading back to Texas.

Lash was happy watching all my nonsense

tires gonna blow. 100%

Yep. He says he’s waiting on tires until he knows which way the build is going.

Luckily you can pretty much pull these with no tires
LOL

My pap got a new 1500 Duramax.

Interesting the Diesel is only a $1000 upgrade now. I remember the 2500 Duramax was 7-8000 more the last one we bought.

Clients LX600 F Sport with 285/50R22 Recon Grapplers.

He wasn’t happy with it before he said it felt like a car.

He is happy now.

It did take a 1” spacer to fit these and ALOT of trimming. OE size is 265/50R22 so not much of a larger size. These trucks have zero clearance and 2 layers of fender liners now for noise.

It is in H2 which adjusts back down at higher MPH then back up as you slow back down.
