After all that time / effort / detail / hand-wringing / money spent to recreate originality, it has what appears to be a NAPA battery glaring at you from the engine bay......

I know he never found a correct floor mat, but I would have hand-built him a battery for the same 5 large bounty he was willing to pay for that mat!

He obviously doesn't know a proper parts man like @beno. For all the tooling up he went through, he should be making money selling parts.

I need suggestions on how best to fix this. It is metal. It's the gimbal on my drone.

I think it can be scabbed. I don't think balance will be that much of an issue.

It gets a lot of vibration though.

Anyone work with models that solder much?

I'd probably use some scrap sheet metal to splint it and JB weld to hold it together. Maybe a small sheet metal screw for good measure.

Ill see if Zimuse sells parts. It's all electronics in that thing. I don't see how it comes apart.

I guess if I splint it I should do other side for balance

Replacement part is far better route if available. Is that a die cast whatever metal or aluminum? Brazing an overlay across the fracture would be better than an adhesive / mechanical fastener - not too high on the fun-a-meter though

Superglue a length of a paperclip spanning the fracture on both sides. Once it dries, come back over with JB Weld. The paperclips will act like rebar in concrete. Just my $0.02

That looks kind of like pot metal from the way the break looks. Is the heat from brazing or solder going to damage anything? Rubber parts or seals? I'd see about a new replacement if that's a concern. Also see if anyone makes one of aluminum or other stronger material.

Drop some JB weld on after. I just looked for parts and they sell whole assemblies only

This is the direction I was headed but the super glue is a superb addition.
