Dad has a '65 Continental. It's not a show car, but is a nice driver. Also restoring a 1960 Lincoln Mark V. Convertible. (Less than 500 known to still be in existence. So ugly it's beautiful.

No pics on phone of the '60 resto, but here is the model I'm referring to:

The '65 is a lot of fun. The wheels usually have wire spoke caps on them--think they were off for cleaning in those pics. It gets a lot of looks and thumbs-up, and the suicide doors always get folk's attention. I do wish it was black...:grinpimp:

Dad had a 67 hard top that was his pride and joy. I think that was the last year for the suicide doors? It was a beautiful copper color and he still talks about that car 40some years later...

Yes sir, I believe you are correct. I know the copper color you are speaking of--always thought it was a great color on these big cars.

Nolen-- The IH is massive. I love it. He kept everything he took off (OE springs, wheels, and axles) so it could be put back to stock if he or a future owner so desired. 1-ton axles are surplus military so the 14blt has a Detroit in the pumpkin. He DD's it when he isn't in the sandbox.

It's in there! Got one new rear driveline installed so its moving on its own. Got another rear and two front drive shafts on the way. New radiator on the way also.

Should be done just in time for K2. But there's no way I'll have it for KOH. So it'll be either the 100 or the Pinzgauer next weekend.
