Mark came into contect with a large collection of con-ferr stuff. It's him.

Mark,

Do these require drilling new holes? Or do they use the windshield henge bolts?

Thanks - Mark

X2
and, when mounted, do they allow the windshield to fold down?

Thanks, Brian.

Yes you are required to drill holes into your windshield frame in order to mount these.

They will, depending on the size of the lamp you install. Some lamps require you to rotate the lamp housing a bit to clear the hood when the wind shield is folded down.

Are you sure? I'd like to have a set of these but don't dig the idea of drilling into my windshield frame!

Two holes in the front face of the windshield frame are required.

Thanks to all for their interest.

Two months later. One set sold. 49 to go!
