leather looks great! had a question on the steering wheel recover. Is this something we can do ourself? or something I will have to take the wheel to a shop? Just not sure how it installs.

I am sure it's something that can be done, I am sure there are some youtube videos that show how to do it. It really depends how comfortable you feel in doing it.

Just found this

Reupholstering a steering wheel - All

My research about installing OEM-syle leather steering wheel covers is that it is much more involved and takes more time and skill than wheelskins. The leather goes under the plastic components. The wheel should be removed from the car (airbag) removed. The old must be stripped, wheel and rubber cleaned, then a tacky glue gets applied to the wheel to keep the leather from slipping after application. The stitching is smaller and more dense, and then the edges of the leather on all of the spokes needs to be glued down. After, wheel, airbag, plastic gets re-installed. That is why shops charge an arm and a leg for such a small piece.

Like all things Land Cruiser - you have to gauge your time against your $$.
