Ok, so for my B-day Dad got me a Go Pro. :D

This weekend I bought the LCD backpack (screen) so I can actually see it while filming, or on the trail. And I started to making mounting points on the back bumper.

This is a video. Its up next to the floor, and all the way on the plate that my reciever is on. :D

Thanks
Cody

Should make for some cool videos ;) I've thought about mounting a small one on the snorkel at times. Bart had one at Sicily Island last trip and said a lot of good things about them.

Yeah, it's sweet. :D

I'm gonna make a mount friday morning, that fits between my roof lights. So it's pertected. And it'll be able to face backwords so I can see just how much tree trimming my Hilift does :D

Thanks
Cody

Nice pictures of wheeling . The look on your buddies faces is priceless

New Tires. Went from 33x12.5x15 to 31x8.5x15.

Thanks

I've Been Busy

See what you can spot different.

There are 4 main things We did this weekend...

Thanks
Cody

Removed the tree catchers, pulled the dent out of the door, installed mud flaps, and parked it in a different spot.

John and Paul had it closest. Removed the Roof Rack, to see if that was the cause of some of my noise. I had been removing various things inside, I originally thought that it might have been the jack and tools in the side compartment. Not it. My tail gate doesn't close very tight. I've slammed it so it doesn't move, still not it...

Determined that it musta been the rack, since it started really making noise, ALL the time, since I kissed trees and used it as a major leaning point.. Even broke my Hilift that day.. Well I started removing the bolts, and went the wrong way, about 6 turns, so I know my back driver mount was lose, hince the bumpy road = noise... So I probably didn't need to keep going, should have just tightened the rest of the mounts, which 4 out ta 6 were loose.

That was about 3 this afternoon.

Yesterday, I got to the camp and desided I had ENOUGH of looking in my Rear View mirror, and seeing a bump in my drivers door, So I was determined to try to the best of my abilities to solve it. I started on my Drivers door, and ventured into the unknown, and found out, 1/2 of the stories of broken clips wern't exactly true. They all went back in, and I took everypanel off... :D

I found out, there is hardly any passages into the door... But I got the main bump in the drivers out... Awesome. Next came the one that I could see above the door handle. I thought I got it, but I still see some, so maybe next weekend I'll try again...

Then went to passenger side, and spent about an hour, making some progress. Then dad showed up, and explaned the Little progress part, so we got a 2x4 that we cut and make it angled, and used that to really make progress on the pass door. Got that one looking 200x better. Then started on the Top part of the Pass door. didn't go like planned, got a corner of the board, allitle off, I guess, and put a couple creases, I kinda smoothed them back out, but we stopped using that technique. Rear pass door, was little bit, Got that one nice.

Rear quarter, The marker light had been depressed since I got it, so I straightend that out, Could still come out more, but now I can atleast see it in the Rear view.. Found that has burnt bulb also. Above the gas door, there is a LONG press. and I tried getting it all the way out, but coldn't Got it out ALOT though...

Driver Rear quarter, has 2 indents from when my highlift broke, it dropped the truckinto tree. So I got the one above the TLC emblem out, as best as I could, not much room, but the one above vent, couldn't...

IMG_1450.jpg

The wheel well, I got pretty good, it could still come out alittle, but I think I might really be fatiguing the metal, so I stopped...

The Grill is removed, because I've been wanting to Murder my 62, and I started, I took off the headlight buckets, and foudn out, that my Harbor Freight blast cabinete is to small for the grilll, and I guess the material we're using isn't strong onough for the chrome...

IMG_1409.jpg

I've got a buddie who works, son of, Nolands machine shop, so he's gonna help me blast it, eventually.

The mud flaps come off of the 60 that we bought. I wish he had both sets... I sand Blasted that, and it's Purdy...:D

IMG_1456.jpg

Tires are the same that I bought a while back, Will definatly go back to 33's x 12.50 x 15 when I need a new set. I've already got a Brand New spare, plus it fills the wells better, and don't rub under full flex...

I will eventually put on Mike's springs, so I'll be even taller, and might look into seeing if 35's will fit, but that's a while from now.. :D

I'm gonna post a Q in the 60 Ser forum, I've been having the problem of my "Pitman Arm" hitting my Spring under flex and not being able to turn, It's leading to the demise of my steering box, since It's putting the full weight of the cruiser on the arm... I've gotten cought a couple times, where I NEEDED to turn, and couldn't...

Thanks
Cody

Friday afterwork, I started making a plate for my light switch's...

I'm eventually gonna do it in Black. This was just for the concept... Plus I found it's a little bit to wide...
The wording will be backlite with LED's, Just have to figure how I wanna mount the lights.
Eventually I wanna replace all my inteiror lights with LED's also.. :D

Eventually once I wire up the back lights on the rack, I'll have that for the "back up" switch, and I was talking about the holder at work, and how I wanted to put some lights under the dash, just to make the inside not so dark, but not bright, so he joked about taping into the radio to do it, so I think I might, and have that switch controle some light strips under the truck also, so I can have it strobing under the truck on the trails.. :D

Eventually I'll make another switch panel when I build my center consol, that'll have all this, AND rocklights, and other lights on it.. :D

Y'all will never guess what I found when I drive up to the shop this afternoon. Some
Body broke into the cruiser. They took the
Passenger door handle off. The lock. The
Mirror. Grill. Lights. Light holders. Light doors. My bumper lights. But they didn't take the $100 on the seat...

Thanks Cody Sent from my iPhone using IH8MUD
