Anyone have a recommendation for a shop that will coat a header. I have one off a parts car, but it's a little rusty and I'd like to have it coated first. After that I'll be needing to find a shop that will add the rest of the exhaust from the collector back. Thanks.

Never mind on the coating. I was thinking ceramic coating. I googled it and called a random shop. Apparently it is cost prohibitive to do that to something that had at one time been chrome.

I still could use a rec for a decent muffler shop. I'd rather not just walk into midas to have some 16 year old hook me up.

Ask a local hotrod guy in ur area my exhaust shop would be too far to go but do good work. Grain valley muffler. Hot rod guys know the good places tho

I would call...

RML powdercoating (785-242-3955). I am not sure if they offer this coating, but they should be able to give you some leads if they don't...

A friend of mine just had some VW wheels powder coated by RML and they look like trash...

What a bummer. I just had my sliders coated at RML, and they look awesome. I would have your friend give Louis a call. He should follow up with that...I have had wheels, sliders and various little pieces done and they all turned out great.
