My dashcam captured this today after I made a left turn. sounds like it is coming from drivers side front. Then it suddenly stops after a final ‘kah-chunk’

is this a sticky brake caliper or brake plate rubbing?

Is it a one-off event? If so, it could be a stone lodged between your pad and rotor or dust shield and rotor.
I’ve only had the car since Tuesday. It did it briefly last night after a gravel road drive. And again today on pavement. Both times it’s been a short event, like 20 seconds and 40 seconds. Before Tuesday it was in the shop getting a comprehensive inspection and they tested for play on the wheels and such, said there was a little play but nothing crazy. The cv boots are just now beginning to leak a little and the drive flanges are worn but still ok.
