Would an exhaust minifold gasket be too ambitious?
That's Lenny's call as it is 'his' HAMOM - but - what type of replacement manifold gasket do you have - OEM or Remflex? Why was your old manifold leaking? Where the intake and exhaust apart? If so you might need to get them planed.
If your intake and exhaust don't need to be planed and you have a good replacement gasket you should be able to do this in 4 hours when you add in the beer drinking and shenanigans. If you start breaking bolts it could be much longer - and louder!
Is anyone planning on checking timing? I'd like to check mine but do not have the tools (light) or know-how to do so?
I've got a light for timing and feeler gauges for valves but it would probably be better if someone else did the adjusting for you than me!
