My Ride

Hi I'm new to mud and 4x4 world. Just got voted into the club last meeting. :)

My ride a 1976 FJ40 acquired last September.

Still lots of work to do before I will take it wheeling (don't want to be stuck in the bush). We recently did a shake down run muding in Stave Lake, Mission and found out some issues.

Right now my priority is to make it pass air care before insurance expires. Stupid air care

Welcome to MUD Geo! :D and to Coastal Cruisers!

Great looking 40'!

How did you do that camo paint - looks great!

more pictures of the camo wrap !

New, proper member

I joined the forum a while back, but until yesterday, didnt own a cruiser.
And now I do, so I am pretty stoked to become a bit more active in the club

What should be my first course of action? Aside from driving my ride home from California.

Are there meetings in the summer months?

Cheers,
J

Come out to a meeting in July and August, 2nd Thursday of the month at the Port Moody Legion. That would be tomorrow. 8pm ish, but come earlier if you like.

Club is about 60 members, all trucks from the 40 to the 100 series and newer FJ's as well and the occasional Jeep, Nissan, and Toyota 4X4. About 30-40 attend a typical meeting.

T-shirt sales, $200 raffle with $5 tickets; inexpensive beer and good conversations.

Cruiser Days is at Fraser River Heritage Park in Mission from 9-3. You don't want to miss that one. Over 100 Land Cruisers attend that one.

Look forward to meeting you!

Welcome Jamie! :flipoff2: (Official MUD greeting ;)) You can drive your Prius to a club meeting or Cruiser Days. Come on out tonight for our July meeting or the following weekend for Cruiser Days. Definitely recommend coming for Cruiser Days (if you are not enroute to Cali). You'll get to see a lot of rigs and develop an idea of what mods you may want to do.
