The crazy thing is that not all were recalled. When I heard of the flaw I called one of the local dealers and had them run the serial to no avail. After it started pissing fluid I called them all..Nothing. At least it was really slow and got bad mileage.
Neighbor sold it today. Plumber had a friend who immediately drove down from Kosciusko and shook hands. Paying and picking up in a couple days. If it falls thru, I'll post details and pics.

No. Jace wants an 80. If he keeps growing at his current rate, he would have to drive with his head out the sunroof in that 4Runner. His dad wants him to have an 80 for 9th-12th grades so it can become dad's 80 when Jace gets a great scholarship and a 100/200/??? to drive to college in 2016. THATS logistics!
On another note...
The 3.0 is known to be underpowered (for a 4Runner), bad mileage (14-17), and head gasket issues, right?
Do those issues remind anyone of another Toyota engine? 4.5???

Look at the condition of the paint on the white 80's versus the dark color 80's in the club. They hold up so much better in my opinion that the dark paint trucks.
Mine and Deerman's trucks have both been stripped and polished and you would be blown away at how good the paint is on both if you get a good look.

Nolan I see your point......but it's white noise after painting my whole front end from Judson green to Rustoleum spruce green!!!!
I do tend to see more dark colors with fad on them......the problem is they look so GOOd when they are cleaned up and have good paint.
But all you white 80s are easy to spot on the road!

difference is 210 hp and 275 torque vs. blah and blah. I don't believe any gas truck with any gusto gets better than 16 mpg. all the digital gauges lie just to make ya feel better.
