Phew, look at that approach angle!

Defiantly going to be a trailer queen though, imagine passing Mr Officer with those treads on.

2.5" lift

I just removed a 2.5" Rancho lift from my 75 FJ40, replacing it because ZI get a new 4" inch lift. It's about 3 years old and rides nice. $150 plus shipping or come get it. I also have a roll-cage for the 40 (I just got a Metal Tech so $100 on that, pick up only. Or Trades/ Wadda got.

Not as good a deal as what I got, or as good condition, but since these things come up rarely....

I found a dizzy, H2O pump, T-stat housing and fuel pump for a 2F while going through my garage this weekend, first come first served. stuff was off an '83 '60 (IIRC) grimy and oily but worked when I pulled the stuff ...... within the last 5 years?

He listed it at 2700 or so.. I stopped by and talked to him.

It has been resprayed and has some rust here and there. The "Unknowns" have to be taken into consideration like motor condition, tranny etc.. It seemed like that would be the lowest he'd go..

I can't get the photo's off of my old phone.... but there is a tube bender at "daniel bunes"? here in GP (on Redwood Hwy before the fairgrounds) they're asking 85.00. I don't remember the brand but it's on a stand that brings it to waist high and has a long extendable lever type handle. There are dyes on the side ranging from small to pretty frickin' big, the largest had a number 3 on it... I took pictures so I wouldn't have to recall the specifics but it looked pretty good to me. However I don't know anything about tube benders. But it looked like a ratchet style to me...

1975 FJ40 Project

That sounds like a typical HF type pipe bender. Actual tubing benders are rather expensive.

I have one (the HF kind). I bought it because it was SUPPOSED to work with round and square stock. It only has the dies for square. Supposedly they work well for pipe, but not for tubing (kinks the tubing).

I've heard filling the tubing with sand prevents it from kinking, but I don't know how well that works in practice.

That's it, with round dies. Guess it's not what we were lookin' for and here I thought I found a great buy.....:o

It's about the same price as HF. Not a horrible buy for what it does. The pnematic one that you have from Jerod is easier to use, but of course that's setup for round stock only.
