I'm in as well! Thanks for getting as good as a deal you could get. Once the tops arrive in everyone's hands I'll start leaving some less-than-stellar reviews, this way of doing business just rubs me so wrong. I'm sure we will all be more than pleased with the quality and it's still a great price, just have no respect for Cassiem or anyone running their show anymore, the morals alone almost make me not want to give them money but it's not like that would hurt them... then I would just be the looser without a pop top stateside lol.

Piggybacking off of this if they do end up on the east coast, I would be more than glad to rent a uhual trailer and tow whoever's pop tops across the US with my own troopy if my gas and the trailer was paid for. Estimating around $1200-1500ish if I were to drive a total of 3,500 miles getting 13mpg with gas at an average of $4.25 ontop of the trailer rental costs aswell. No idea what my actual gas milage would be while towing, usually get 21 on the highway. Dont really know if that's worth it for anyone to just save half on the shipping costs, just throwing the idea out there as a possibility, I'm just trying to get a cross country trip somewhat paid for and love meeting all the people across the US from mud 😆

If you need a co-pilot that knows how to drive a red troopy I might know a guy

I should still be in. Let me check with the boss of the budget on my side. Might need to drop the wood box from my order. I will sort it out tonight after work.

I would love to see the difference in cost of shipping to the West coast vs shipping to the East coast and facilitating an awesome road trip.

I’m still in as well. Bummed about the curveball but also still grateful for your efforts @prwillard2.

Interested in this potential east coast road trip delivery option….

Final pricing, new invoices will go out today.

Standard roof: 80k rand.
Hi Line roof: 85k rand.

Best I can get guys. Take it or leave it.

Everyone should have been on the email.

Let me know if you're out.
No new invoice yet but I can do the math based on the final pricing you’ve confirmed here. Do we need to get our deposits sent over asap anyway? I would hate for Cassiem to get impatient and increase pricing on us again.

Oh man this could be potentially AMAZING

I'd love to, especially if it makes sense cost-wise. Not really banking on anything, I assume more than likely it'll be 2 separate shipments, then again I don't know much of anything. Just if it does end up being cheaper to ship all to the East Coast then count me on board to deliver for free minus gas and trailer expenses!

Does this seem right ? What is the conversion from or to. Is it SA rands?

I’m getting $7,200 dollars! Is that right?
In SA the comma is the decimal. It looks like they did not put enough zeros in your hi line tent line. It should be 85000,00 or 85k for the hi-line and the around 3k for crating and 3k for the table mod so around 91k total.

I guess I need to ask yet another quote then?

I might pay the deposit and ask for a corrected quote. This is ours for reference. We don't want the table mod, just a rear hinged section. I'm going to be paying the deposit and then asking for a correction, just to keep things moving.

I'm back in. Spoke with my sons Rugby coach yesterday (from SA) and his brother still lives there and practices law. I was able to speak with him. Here's the law on PO's. Prior to sending a deposit make sure you get a fully executed PO back or its not officially binding. It also has to list a firm delivery date (i.e. March 2024, etc.) If it's not on there just write it I'm and initial. Have Alu do the same. With the economic turmoil happening over there just make sure to protect yourself; from a legal perspective regarding the PO.

Everyone needs to pay their deposit NLT 4 December. Those who don't will be unable to get in as Cassiem has to buy the raw materials.

Let me know if you're unable to make your deposit tomorrow, 4 Dec.

We just received the new PO on Saturday so a 2 day turn around on the weekend with the time difference isn't reasonable for all the back and forth. Plus I was out of town all weekend with no access to a computer. I sent my PO in, but they need to execute and return prior to me sending the deposit. At the latest the deposit will be tomorrow if they execute this evening.

Let me know if that works.

Saw your email, recommend you make the wire today. We've got 6+ already paying, but unsure if he's going to be flexible on the payments.

They sent you the physical invoice, buying things overseas requires some level of trust with the company. Don't think they'll sign/send back like you're looking for but worth a shot.

Just sent my wire transfer for the 60% deposit along with a copy of my signed build sheet. Copied you on the email, @prwillard2. That should make for 7 of 10 deposits sent, right?
