are there replaceable bulbs for the climate control backlights? The top display on my goes in and out. Never off all the way but very dim. Sometimes it’s full brightness but not usually.
Yes there are … both old tech/OEM from OEM resellers and new tech from EBay/Amazon/Lighting specialists. It’s a bit of a finickity job because you’ve got to get to the PC Board level to swop them out and you’ll almost definitely tear a green rubber thingy or 2 …. but definitely don’t need a doctorate to do it.
Do a search, there are monkey see/monkey do level instructions which I successfully followed. Good luck
Try clean the contacts first whilst waiting for the bulbs to be delivered, might be pleasantly surprised … and consider “upgrading“ to LED … but understand that LEDs are really bright, no subdued / atmosphere lighting
Thanks for the reply! I see a couple more posts now mentioning T4 and T5 wedge bulbs. I’ll probably go with LED mainly because I like the output. I just wish there was an LED that mimicked the “warm white light with a green condom” color so that it actually matched. The true green LEDs are very vivid green.
