for more generality, it's best to measure from the center of the wheel to some datum, typically the bottom of the flare for convenience. Really exact folks would do something with axle etc to frame.

I have no idea, I just followed the directions that came with my OME torsion bars. But I see your point for someone with an 18" wheel my measurements would not jive.

Wow, that looks awesome. Those 863s are giant. They tower over my 865s.

What are you gonna carry back there? A coupla rhinos?

...everyone has to wipe their ass somehow right? I love buying toliet paper, it makes me smile.

Some pics of the lift, once everything else is on I will adjust the front to level it out more.

CK, I see the need for a Borla yo...

So I was driving around a bit today with the wife and kids, my wife turned to me and said....

"Dear this suspension makes the truck feel more stable, its not floating over the bumps like a boat as it did before"

863's and N74L's are wife approaved! :D

No new updates, waiting for parts...hopefully I'll have two pallets from Slee by the end of next week!

And, I still havn't decided on tires.....After seeing the 34x10.5's on Sincity rig I'm really digging the tall narrow idea...Looks like the closest streetable size would be 255.85.16...I searched like hell and couldn't find a pic of a 100 with that size

Yeah, I'm getting bored with the rate of progress on this build...

;p

hey, his rate of progress is still better then mine, leave him be. Ok im gona go run to my hole now...before i get bashed for having chrome 16" wheels and a chrome grille.

Just took a long lunch and picked up my rear bumper, sliders and diff drop....Some advice to everyone, when you go to pick up your bumpers and chit take Carrot Top cus you might need some help lifting it into the cruiser....I'll snap some shots tonight after work....Thanks Christo!

ckkone....would your wife talk to my wife???? pleeeese :)

I'm thinking of doing a similar setup this summer...got to sell one of my other expensive projects on ebay for $$$. I might wait and see about the new rumored Slee front bumper :)

Well I was going to start bolting stuff up tonight, but my body is saying no....Coming down with a fever....But I like threads with pics, so here are some parts!

Also just a comment for anyone planning on running the 863's. After driving 50-100 miles with them on I started to think they may be a little stiff...All of those thoughts went out the window when I was driving to work them home with all the parts in the back....With that much weight in the rear I think those springs are just about perfect...And pictures don't do proper justice to slee parts, you really have to see and lift them to appreciate what they are all about...I'm not dissappointed in any way with my selections!

hey the truck still fits in the garage, what gives? Hopefully the slee stuff weighs down the 863s enough that the larger tires dont make it so you cant fit.

Yeap it still fits! Not sure it's going to fit once the tires are on, so I'm doing the tires last that way I don't have to install the rest of the parts in the driveway..

yeah, i wish i had those sliders today...they will definately come in handy! So..........i hope your in the garage right now bolting that stuff up.
