City racer 1/4 window weatherstrip

Anybody use Roger’s repro weatherstrip for the 1/4 windows. I just got them and they are too big? I can cut them down to fit, but would rather not? Pretty sure when I used sor seals they were one piece and went in fine?

That would be great, these are about an inch too long, I don’t remember having to cut them?

My unscientific measurement is 42 3/4” OD on the exterior rubber using a stiff tape measure. I’ll bring this box to work and use a fabric tape to get you more precise numbers...

I measured with a string and got 43 3/4 around the outer circumference. If I put the string in the groove with it facing out I get 42 1/2

Just a dumb question but perhaps he grabbed the 40 quarter window weatherstripping on accident? I can measure my gasket tonight if that will help.

Thought the same thing, until I compared it to a 40! 40 is way bigger

So 41 3/4 in the groove. I believe I have a source saved at the office from an aus supplier. I tried wrestling it onto the glass and mine appears to be a bit large but probably doable if I got it to relax and if I used dish soap.

Thanks for the measurements, I ended up cutting an inch out which brought it to 41 3/4 and it worked fine. I just didn’t want to cut them, but a little silicone at the gap should do. I wonder if Roger is aware of this? I guess there is a reason for oem! City racer is 30 minutes from me and that’s why I went aftermarket.

well. I appreciate the follow up on the length and installation. And glad mine will possibly fit! took me a few min to find the box and had a minor freak out session but was able to find it. with my in bold label "GLASS"

What's the part number of the weatherstrip I sent you? Please PM me your order number. The FJ45 corner window weatherstrip is smaller than the FJ40 one. You must've gotten the FJ40 weatherstrip, which is the reason it's too big.
