Just one wrong out of 100. We had very good instructors. ;)

Still trying to figure out which radio. I want the HF but don't need it. A multiband radio is very enticing but then I get the extra complication/cost of annenta(s)/antenna tuners for multiband. Also I am kind of interested in being able to do APRS. It's the same old problem; what I want is beyond what i can afford.

I guess when my back gives out bouncing in the 74 I could get an old man's 81 or maybe one of these...

I barely have the time to keep one rig (a simple 74 at that) off-road worthy - its the O&M time on these rigs that kills me - got to lighten the load:D

all of you can just go kiss my :deadhorse: (that's as close to an icon as we have to an ass )

At least I haven't rolled my truck, unlike other people in the group (and I really hope I don't)

Its funny I was not there nor did I have a cruiser at the time. But it left a lasting impression, I showed Gavin a pics when he first got his 60 with a stern warning "do not drive into water with out knowing what is under it, or become this guy" :hillbilly:

I am sure that Mat knew what was under it - just not how far down it was. :D

Awesome pictures! I did not know much of the back story of why you got stopped, still a good story.
