Or web wheelers who were working...

'Cause we know the other part of that comment doesn't apply here...

Looks like I'm out. Gonna be working more than anticipated through the holidays :frown:

I'm still planing on going out the 27th. Robin and I are goin camping in manning park this week for a couple days as well. Should be nice and snowie.

Can we get a quick roll call of people planing on coming? Looks like 3-4 so far? I'm going to bring a stove to make hot drinks and maybe a BBQ if anyone is interested in cooking some warm lunch. I think Kenyon lake would be a good destination it's not to far and that allows us more time wheelin over driving.

I'll be away for the next 3 days camping so let maybe get a roll call going and a meeting place and time.

No pics yet, didn't take too many. Actually a mellow easy going day, not too many new dents :hillbilly:. Turned out to be a nice day of exploring.

I will be be working on the 27th so unfortunately I'm out for that one.

Not sure how to get pics on a mac, so the couple I do have won't be available for viewing until January. I did find out my rear light protectors need to be beefed up a bit, since some how when the back end bounces off a big tree, metal still bends!

Here's a few. warm up trails around davis = two dented quarters and cracked lights. Lunch by stave lake just because it was a nice spot for a break. Smashed my taillight heading out, my mistake.

Wow Kenyon looks ready for a swim!! Balmy!

Jeff I did not mean to say you where lazy......but if the shoe....:)

I was also up at Stave Sunday afternoon. It was a nice day to go shooting, light wheeling and pick up a couple Christmas trees. It was my first time checking the area out so I just stayed on Lost Creek fsr for the most part. On my way up, around Salsbury Lake area, I had to winch out a jeep that was hung up on a log in the middle of some trees around 3pm. So at least the line got some use. haha

Fortunately, I had to quit my job today. So the 27th should work for me. Count me in.

I didnt get a chance to grab any pictures. But the lady came and snapped me pulling the tree down from a new growth.

Nice pics, quad tracks on the lake? I wonder can you ice fish at Kenyon?

Missed your post.

Yep, bunch of quad tracks out onto the lake. There was a fair bit of slush/water on top of the ice. No idea if they were just having fun or if they were heading out icefishing. I've only been in that area once before so I've never tried fishing at kenyon.

So lets meet at the Husky on Loughead and Syslvester at Dec 27th 9:30am. We will try and leave by 10AM. If the weather stays good over the next few days there is the potential for a good dump of snow in the mountains so be prepared.
