We had a good turnout, 8 rigs total. Here a few pics of our guys showing us how it's done. It was a fun time.

Eric...well...we can say he is good on the jack

Seriously, he does a nice job with that 60.:steer:

Sam, Neil and I went on to explore down road 211 and had a great time. We got into some snow and were actually breaking trail after a while, had to move a downed tree that was across the road. The snow started getting deep in places and there was one stretch for about 50 yards that took me a couple of tries to break through, slightly uphill. Other places the road was dry. Found the trailhead and had a nice hike of about 3 miles and got back to the rigs about 5:00.

Looks like it was a great time for all...even the guy on the jack...:p

The locker was the first real "aftermarket" part....now the vicious cycle has begun. you started it, not the cruiser. The domino effect has begun, just go ahead and start looking for a Chevy 350 :deadhorse:

I still consider the 60 "Minimalist Stock"

Still fighting the idle.

New plugs, adjusted timing and valves, a can of seafoam, checked all the air lines.

Think I'll take it out this afternoon and just drive for an hour--almost acting like it's bad gas...

Check the cap, rotor and wires. Sounds similar to another problem not too long ago.

OK, I'm stumped! New plugs, cap, rotor, and coil. Adjusted timing, valves & mixture. Cecked air lines and everything else I can think of and the POS still won't idle! Any suggestions? Next step is plug/coil wires but they a about a year old.

Change the plug and coil wires. Then if that doesn't work, buy a compression tester and see if you have a valve or cylinder problem. I'm crossing my fingers for you that it's the wires.

Start checking vacuum leaks, you took your manifold off if I remember, are the bolts tight? Is your PCV valve stuck open? Carb loose at it's base? broken hoses? Is your brake booster leaking causing a vacuum leak? I that fuel pump acting up again? bad/clogged fuel filter?
