Actually I am not 100% sure, but about 90% sureSo your rear door clears over the speed jack? Website says its just over 11 inches tall from the mounting spot, ours is currently 14.5 inches tall. Next time I hitch up ill have to measure!
A big part of the aux tank was range PLUS price of gas in rural areas in CA. Our last trip, filling up from empty, costed $127. I could have been $45 cheaper when compared to prices around home. So in theory, the tank could pay for itself over time, plus cheaper reg in NV towards teh cost of the tank
I did just see some of the half swings that use leave the OEM bumper, not against that at all!
I like the thought of removing the swingout when just around town and then putting it on when towing or hitting a trail.
. I did move the jack back around a foot and also mounted it lower. You can see the original mounting location (just behind the hitch). I DIY designed and built the crossmember it's mounted to under the Blackstone to provide door clearance. My rig is lifted, which of course helps. I have way more door open with this setup (door hitting the Blackstone) than I had before, as the door hit the old crank-operated trailer jack. It's likely you'll need a custom crossmember to get this to work. I spent a lot of time on the tongue of our trailer and it was worth it.
