Howdy from the 40 corner. I’m tempted to go look at a wagon (350/700R4) that’s been bedlined from the belt line down to the rockers. Seller claims no rust or bondo- but I’ve been told that before. My gut tells me no one puts bedliner on a good body- of course people do crazy things. The pictures make it tempting.

Anybody no how to check for rust and bondo under bedliner? I know on regular paint a weak (refrigerator magnet) can be your guide, but I’m assuming bedliner will be to thick for that trick.

Most common area for rust is the rear quarters, so you could pull the rear cargo panels off and look down in there.

All for not I think, Facebook ad is gone. Oh well, I guess I’ll keep pouring money into the other pit… thanks for the replies.
