Yesterday was possibly the worst day in SD sports history! I HOPE today will be better. GO PADRES!!!! C'mon the Rockies have won 13 or 14 games down the stretch, that is just NUTS..... They are due for a loss!

Could be worse....could be an Atlanta fan....well the football record is the same, but the Braves are out for the second year. We did improve over last year though.

Padres couldn't do it either. Two run lead (8-6) in the 13th. Hoffman gives up three runs. Rockies win 9-8.Bluetribal said:

The division doesn't appear to be that strong, so an 8-8 record may get you into the playoffs.
But if this continues, possibly by the bye week, I think the decision will have to be made, get rid of Norv now and get his losing karma away from the Bolts or gut out the rest of the season. I think if the bolts are not playoff contenders by the bye week, Norv will be fired, an interim coach will take over for the rest of the season and then the Chargers will pursue Cowher.

Yeah Cowher would be incredible but I heard he didn't take the job before Norv was selected because he is a good friend of Marty's and he couldn't do that to a friend. So I think this year would be out but maybe next year would be OK????

Well I have picked Denver in my football pool and when I go to my buddies house (Bronco Fan) on Sunday I am taking my $20 for our $20-$20 bet we do each season. Last year I took home $40 and this year I could be giving it back!
