This is old, but your build thread was epic. I have a question about how you mounted the D710 face under your radio. The Kenwood/Kenwood match was awesome too btw. I really like the idea of mounting the remote under the radio like that and it keeps the rest of the dash free and clean. Mounting the Uniden in the ashtray is genius too.

I'm very curious about the kenwood mounting though. Especially if you have pictures or measurements of the mount you made. Thanks.

I don’t have the measurements as it was quite a while ago that I made this. I used a Simpson Strong-Tie angle bracket, bent it to the size of a single din, then cut out the dimensions for the face of the TM-V71A. Drilled and taped the bracket to use the factory mounts. Originally I had the mic input right next to the radio but moved it later as it was easier to fit the USB in that spot vs modifying a different spot in the dash. Here’s a few pictures from when I made it.
