yep, cutting across the picture is the main road, the road directly behind my truck went up to the big rock pile. We went left and come out at turkey hill where this picture was taken. You went right and I don't know where you ended up, but it seems like you would have passed this coming out.
 
Yeah, we definitely need to ride again. I think we will try another group ride in about a month, but if you want to go sooner I'm game. I have been wanting to check out Mountainside. I don't know what anybody's work schedule is but I'm on 4/10's now so I can go most Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays.
I will just have to try and stay a bit less "rock happy" than I was after y'all left, or I will soon be doing a lot more fixin and less wheelin.

Mountainside and Morris Mountain both look good or I would even be up for another trip to stoney lonesome to hit some of the trails we missed, since it is so close. Looking at pics on the local caos board it looks like trail 417 was good - 417a was the trail that I ended up backing down, 417 was up from the turn to 417a and to the left, the group went right instead of taking 417. also the trail just past the rock garden looked promising. I haven't gotten a response about the "jeep only" trails but I am guessing we could ride on them.
 
Scott and I went up 417 and it was a deadend. They are doing trail maintnance on it for now. I'm up for another ride in the next week or month. Let's try and decide when and where.
 
We also have a meeting set for July 9th if anyone missed the thread.
 
Let's try and figure a ride for July 18th at either Mountainside or Morris Mountain. I think Morris Mountain is suppose to be tough.
 
never been to either of the two suggested places....but from what I know at Skyline....if you are sitting low and stock... rocks are not your friends.

There may be a few of us at Morris Mountain already on July 18-I should know next week for sure.
 
I don't think I will be able to make it the 18th, I could probably go the 11th though.
