mine have some brown highlights, does that count?

:flipoff2:

I am still looking for the pink panties that were suppose to come with my LX :bounce:

I'm just trying to get rid of all the bling! I've now painted out my caps and front grill.

I repainted mine a little over a year ago, they looked great. I didn't bother with the clearcoat recommended by my brother, but I probably will when I repaint them this fall

Caps for OEM Steelies

I know it's a fat chance but if anybody sees any used caps for the OEM steels wheels, drop me a PM. I know I could buy them new but for the $$, the unsavory look isn't that bad. Dan's probably the only guy in the US that's got'em.

Junk's R worse than used....

They have been to his house.......

I don't think the OEM packaging can protect them from his mama........:flipoff2:

His was up a good bit. It hung on him on a VERY steep departure. He could not pull off nor could he back up. He backed up about 2 inches and we removed the jack from the carrier and placed it in the back of the vehicle.

The main issue is that the jack is out there a ways and a steep departure will sometimes catch it. I'm not suggesting that the mount is not well made or effective, just that in some cases you are gonna hit.

I'll put this on my list of bonehead things to do on the trail next time I'm out. :)

The center of my caps are originally black w/gold, and still in good shape, the rest of the cap was silver and faded/worn. I taped the center part and sanded and painted the rest of it black, looks pretty good for 1.5yrs now.
