Hey guys, I'm new here. One reason I joined was to post specifically to post on this thread.

I have used DT products in the past...I had a set of headers installed on my Tacoma. They worked excellent and were well crafted.

I would definitely spring for a quality SS exhaust for my 200. No drone or excessive noise please.

Count me in on the exhaust build hope to see it on the market soon!

I like the idea of a bolt in replacement for the massive muffler. Removing secondary cats would be great too. I too don't want any drone which is why I haven't wanted to have anything fabricated.

I sucked it up and did a flowmaster 50 with two in and one out, and got rid of the resonator. For the most part I a happy with the sound, though it is not what I was hoping for. I was thinking of doing a pair of flowmast 44s and turn-downs before the rear end, but from listening to the Corsa system on youtube I might look into those. (ya I have a red-neck side). I like the drone in the cab while going down the freeway.

I cut the resonator off and had 3" OD bent pipe welded on. It's now tucked up and hides just under my frame - high and tight. No drone, no nonsense right around $100

Not opposed to a cat-back, but I am very picky about how my vehicles sound. So, with that, I think y'all should post some sound clips on YouTube with what ya got so we can hear them! :grinpimp:

I have recently purchased material to build a proper high quality 304 stainless exhaust system. If enough interest still exists, I will produce a jig and build these to order. These will not be loud rumblers, a little louder than stock when dipping deeper into the throttle.

Brian. You've got my attention.

I'm more interested in simply removing the bulk of the resonator, which seems unnecessarily huge. Willy replaced his with nothing but more tubing, and the sound was no different...which is great by me.

I'd love an open exhaust; no cats, no resonator. For "off-road purposes only" of course. ;)

BJowett,

I would have interest in the custom Borla setup contingent on pricing. Near quiet as stock for me, I think.

Hey Brian.
My request would be a direct bolt on utilizing the flanges ahead of the large muffler with hangers in the OEM locations. This I could install in the driveway or uninstall upon a trade in.
If eliminating the secondary cats would improve performance then a weld on system would be bueno.

I want to hear the V8 rumble; at idle, and WOT.

Flames...flames are cool too.
